Thank you to all who have donated to our Roof Restoration Fund. So far we have raised $300,000!
Soon we will begin urgent roof repairs to stop the water leaks to get our roof up to restoration standards.
We will keep you posted once we are ready to start, and update you with our progress.

Of St Mary Star of the Sea
Support St Marys by providing the urgent funding we need for the essential repairs of the exterior slate roof, vents, interior leakages, particularly over the area above the historically irreplaceable pipe organ and choir loft.
Restoration of St. Marys
St Mary Star of the Sea, is in urgent funding to repair the slate roof, its vertical elements and some of the exterior facade. The roof has been leaking and causing water damage to the pipe organ and other things inside the church.
Gaps have also appeared in the roof which has allowed pigeons to nest inside the Church's cavities. Pigeon droppings are high in ammonia, which has caused damage to the pipe organ, and some of the Church's side altars.
